Britsafe Achieves ACS Status
Britsafe is one of the pioneers of the new Government-backed SIA Approved Contractor Scheme, a ground-breaking initiative designed to help clients identify the best providers of private security services in England and Wales.
Even though there are more than 2,500 security services providers in Britain, only a handful of firms have so far demonstrated the necessary credentials to become an Approved Contractor. Britsafe, however, as one of the first firms in the security industry to sign up, can now clearly demonstrate its commitment to best practice and quality and ensure it can offer maximum flexibility and operational effectiveness to clients.
Under the new scheme, suppliers of security services who are not Approved Contractors will have a significant restriction placed on their capabilities and this will ultimately affect the quality of service they can offer.
Britsafe on the other hand, as an Approved Contractor, has been independently assessed and is now fully recognised by the SIA for its expertise in providing a customised service to clients, and one which closely reflects the needs of their organisation, as well as its ability to be responsive and adapt swiftly to change.
